Meet Your Teacher, Stacie Bloomfield
I was once the person absolutely convinced Procreate wasn't for me. I had gotten by without it for so long — why change now?
I'd gone from managing a Starbucks during the recession to selling handmade items and original art on Etsy just to scratch a creative itch. No plan. Just something I couldn't stop doing.
That turned into Gingiber — a design business that licenses original art and sells on products in 1,400+ stores.
Then I finally tried Procreate. Within a week, I was hooked.
I'd spent years doing it the hard way — pencil on paper, scan it, clean it up in Photoshop, vectorize in Illustrator, then finally start coloring. Exhausting.
Procreate collapsed all of that into one place. Timid strokes became fearless ones. I started trying things I never had the courage to attempt before. I could go from idea to finished piece to product in a fraction of the time — and I actually wanted to sit down and make art every day.
That's what I want for you.
